Wow I did not know this existed until now. Bleach Resumes the Manga Arc on April 13

I heard of xxxxHolic no idea what that one is about and I have not heard about Maria+Holic up until a couple weeks ago, I have no idea if they are related in a way but I decided to check out Maria+Holic due to the fact that from what I seen in AMV's seems to be an absurdly funny anime.


I'm not in to the Yuri and Yaori animes due to the fact that i'm not gay so I can't really relate to the characters, but I didn't expect the main character to be LESBIAN! Not that theres anything wrong with that I mean I enjoy lesbians(excluding dikes). It's just the title Maria+Holic mislead me I had an idea on what it might have been about I thought it was gonna be a guy obssessed with someone named Maria because holic means addiction right!? It turns out there is no one named Maria or anyone with any sort of addiction but revolves around a Senior girl named Kanako Miyamae who transferred to an all girl Catholic school in hopes of meeting her true love but that isn't the only reason apparently she has a history with "Boys" and everytime she comes in contact with one she burst into hives.


So upon arriving on the school she gets lost because this campus is massive! They got their fountains, their forest, a school that looks like it was built during the Victorian era. This school just screams aristocrat couldn't say the same about my old Catholic School that place just crawled with guidos(Jersey Shore type of kids). The only thing they ever invested in our school was our 10-time state championship football team. The things I would do to get into a school like hers Unforgivable things. While lost she desperatly looks for someone in these deserted school grounds and runs into maid. Relieved she goes up to her hoping for assistance and gets shunned on the spot before she can even ask her question the Maid replys to her "What are you doing here female pig?" what kinda service is that? I thought this was a Catholic School? As she stays there shocked not believing what she just heard, the maid has the nerve to say

I take back what I said about slapping this bitch silly she just became my favorite character.

Ah how I enjoy to see people suffer!

I'm going to expect alot of blunt & cruel humor in this anime just the kind of humor I feed off. In fact it's not gonna be that i'm expecting this type of humor I know it's going to be the main premise of this anime thanks to the upcoming character.


       After Kanako is totally shunned by the maid a cute blonde girl name Mariya ShidM comes onto the scene which she totally justs falls for and I can't blame her I mean
she looks cute right? Very Feminine. Good Posture. Yeah it would all be good for her if it wasn't for one little face this chick is a man baby. Yeah this cute little vixen is actually a crossdressing male why? Well I haven't found that one out yet but I do know one little fact he is not doing it because he wants to. I would have kept thinking this chick was actually a chick if it wasn't for Kanako walking in on him putting on a corset with the help of his maid|Hilarity Ensued|. So finding out this detail about the love of her life being a man OH THE IRONY! Kanako is infuriated at.. uhh.... Mariya for posing as a women so she threatens to expose him for what he is after she makes a grab at his junk

just to be sure.

He isn't going to let this go that easily so being all high and mighty that he is he rips off his maids shirt exposing her bra causing Kanako to bleed through her nose profushiosly in a attempt to frame her as a rapist he gives her two choices ignore him and go home free or become a criminal.
this is an act that she just can't beat

She reluctiaonly agrees. So she goes back to her dorm expecting to see her cute roommate once more but
he's going to be having a very close eye on her.

In one episode Maria+Holic grabbed my attention with it's very blunt humor and this guy Mariya with his very sadistic humor. The artwork isn't bad at all also I would consider it above average whoever worked on this anime put alot of effort into all the details so visually its got my eyes. The voice acting in japanese is very well done and kudos to the guy who does Mariya's voice Yk Kobayashi for switching between the male and female tones.


        I don't know if i'm gonna end up watching it online i'm considering on buying it on dvd since it came out not too long ago and probaly watch it in english dub/sub whatever they did to it it might be a buy. I will do a full review when I finish the series.
